any tips on Medellin (colombia) and Quito (Ecuador)

Hi,

I am going to these two places next week for 10 days - any tips where I can get some action? I want to avoid street action - bit too dangerous for me.

Ideally in some casa?

Ok I will answer my own question for other people's benefit
Ecuador - I didnt get a chance to venture

but Medellin, Colombia definitely has loads - and available at all times of the day. Even 9am on Sunday they are flaunting their wares.

The place to meet them is in the area between park boliviar and the metro line. around calle 55 (they are between the park and metro line) and I saw some on calle 55 on the other side of the park also
as you walk down calle 55, throu the park, take a right in the block after (not the street parallel to the park) - then on the two streets on the left you will see lots of them
including some in the bars

I can't emphasize how dangerous this area - people are warned to avoid it even during the days
I didnt sample any as none were my type
and the women there are SOO beautiful and can be had for $10/hour in the casas - much prefer that
